Storing breastmilk in Playtex Drop In's

We BF and I've started to pump and give DS a bottle like ever 3 or so days. I only pump once or twice a day and I usually keep 4 oz in the fridge in storage bags then freeze whatever else I get from pumping that day. But I think that using BM storage bags to keep milk in the fridge is a waste of the bags and money. 

Could I store the pumped milk in the bottle (Playtex Drop In's) with a lid on them and keep it in the fridge?

I would think it's like the same thing as keeping it in bags... but I'm just wondering.

That seems like it would be fine.  I keep mine in the medela bottles that I pump into in the fridge and only use the bags when I freeze milk.  I use the screw on tops instead of a nipple, but I know the drop-ins lids are pretty tight, so I don't see why it would be any different.

I do thatsometimes, but usually I use adapter kit to pump directly into the drop-ins that comes with screw on lids for the drop ins.

I use the Playtex Drop In's as well and I keep the BM is the bottles with a lid. I only use the bags for freezing.

Not a problem.

You can also typically use the bag as your drop in when you feed. I fold the flaps over the top and screw the top on. (so the bag is in between if that makes sense) works great no extra plastic waste.

I've also used the playtex drop ins adaptor kit.  This way you have lids and can pump directly into the drop ins.  I got the kit as a shower gift, but I don't think it was too expensive.
