Last time anyone checked (20 weeks) this baby was breech. I don't know if what I'm about to write has anything to do with baby's position, but I'm just curious and a little worried.
I've been feeling A LOT of movement very low in my abdomen ... almost like cramping but not. A lot of pressure and ... and I don't know what. All I know is it doesn't feel "right". Not really wrong, like I wouldn't rush to the doctor's office, but it just feels ... "off". I didn't feel this way with DD until I went into labor. Eeek!
Anyone have any stories/advice -- anything? I'm beginning to get a little worried.
Thanks!
Re: LucyP or other Breech Moms?
Hey - be glad you're poopin'! Better that than all stopped up! I haven't had too many problems in that department either - ha ha!
I do know that at 19 weeks - Jack was head DOWN .. but at some point between then and 29 weeks - he flipped to head up and that's where he's been ever since. I have not felt exactly what you are describing but certainly have felt all sorts of other weirdness along the way.
I would bring it up with your doc - even give him/her a call to just mention what's going on. I'm sure you are FINE!! But it will give you some peace of mind I think to have your doctor tell you that you're fine. And let me know what they say!
"When it comes to sleeping, whatever your baby does is normal. If one thing has damaged parents enjoyment of their babies, it's rigid expectations about how and when the baby should sleep." ~ James McKenna, Ph.D., Mother Baby Behavioral Sleep Center, University of Notre Dame
The u/s tech and perinatologist both made a point of saying our baby was breech at our 20 wk scan, but I thought it was normal for babies to still be breech at that stage(?).
A couple weeks ago I was feeling lots of pressure and movement very low, along with some menstrual like cramps. We had spent the whole weekend walking around Disney World with my IL's, so all that activity just added to my worry. My OB told me it was just RLP and my pelvis widening. If you're feeling concerned it's definitely worth talking to your doctor, at least for peace of mind.
