Would you consider upper neck/back pain the same....

in 3rd Trimester
as lower back pain?  This whole week my neck and upper back has been hurting and on Sunday and Tuesday I've had BH.  Is this just another pregnacy symptom or something I should be worried about?

    Um...no upper and lower back pain are not the same. One is upper. One is lower.

    They may be out of place from your center of gravity being thrown off b/c of the added weight of your baby belly.  I doubt it has anything to do w/ bh.  It's a good excuse to ask your dh for a backrub, though ; ).

    Sorry, instead of getting lower back pain I have upper back pain and didn't know if that would be considered as a  symptom for preterm labor.  This is the third time for me to have BH and since Sunday my upper back has been hurting.

    Gotcha. But, no, upper back pain isn't a symptom of PTL.
