Help! Head cold....what works

Oh my, I am absolutely miserable.  I haven't been sick in about 5 years so this stinks.  Any suggestions on what works that I can use.

Any suggestions are appreciated

    Tylenol, sitting in a steamy bathroom, saline nasal spray, humidifier.

    I have one too. BOOO!!! :(

    There is stuff on my "ok" list from my dr's, but I am still afraid to take most things. Been oj'ing it up, and taking tylenol PM. I am concerned though, how much Tylenol is ok in a day? I took 2 last night around 9:30 and just took two more at 11:00 this morning. I don't want to overdo it.

    I was told plain Tylenol, and Sudafed if I really needed it (it's behind the counter, though, so ask the pharmacist about it). I ended up just not taking anything and kept drinking hot water with honey. It actually worked really well.
