EWCM . . . . or not?

So how the heck do you REALLY tell if you have ewcm, or if it's just semen or arousal fluid?

How long does it take after sex or arousal for these other fluids to "dissipate" enough to tell?

I had sex at 7am, and want to check my cm, but am pretty sure whatever is going on down there would throw me off.

It's kind of frustrating when you are trying to bd a lot during your fertile window, but can't really tell what's going on in the cm department.

Any tips?

Semen usually doesn't stretch as long as EWCM does.

DH and I end up having sex in the morning 99% of the time. So when I first wake up I go pee and check CM, then go back to bed. That is the only way I know that it is as close to the real deal as possible. There are days where I don't put anything in FF though, just in case I'm not sure. It isn't the end of the world to have one missing day here and there, I don't think.

With that said, semen doesn't stretch quite like EWCM, and for me, my EWCM isn't cloudy like semen is. There is also some trick about dropping it in water - semen dissolves and EWCM doesn't.....might be the other way around.

I googled this for my own knowledge. It said if you wipe after you potty and look at the tissue sperm will be absorbed by the tissue. EWCM will not. Try this.

I read that you should wait 10-12 hours after sex to check cm..

I have tried the water trick. EWCM kinda balls up and sinks while semen will float.
