CD Mamas: Detergent recs, please!

We bought 2 boxes of Bum Genius CD soap before LO was born. We are just now finishing up the 2nd box.

While the BG soap was fine, I was wondering what you guys like! Sometimes I feel like there's a little "stink" left in the diapers after I wash them.

we use biokleen on our prefolds.  have since the start, and never any problems.

I just use Tide. It's cheap, easy to get and works fine.

I also use Tide powder. We have hard water so I just went with it.

Tide.  I tried 4 or 5 other detergents and Tide is the only thing that gets my diapers clean with our hard water.  I hardly have to strip them and as a bonus, I can buy it at Target.

We use planet and rocking green hard rock and haven't had problems with either.

I use Charlie's Soap. I like it so much that I use it for all our laundry now.

I know exactly what you're talking about with the BG soap. We recently did an overnight soak in Rockin Green Funk Rock followed by using Rockin Green Classic Rock for a few loads. Worked like a charm - they smell brand new. Even the microfiber!

Also, plain ol' blue Tide works well to get that clean smell and not the cloth diaper smell. :-)

We use Tide powder as well. Occasionally, I add dawn or baking soda to the wash. We've never had any issues.

Yes! That's the smell!!

We use shaklee. www.shaklee.com it's amazing! It lasts forever too! We use all their cleaning products and I'm trying to convince hubby to let me get the vitamins.

I only CD some, but I used my own detergent over the summer.  I found a recipe online and I had a lot of trouble with leaking, so I bought some Rockin Green and LOVED it.  But I recently ran out, so I just now am washing a load in the detergent that I made.  If I end up having trouble with leaking again I think I might go the Tide route. 

Is it just the regular powdered Tide?  Nothing special?

I use All free and clear and haven't had a problem (knocks on wood).
