BFP & still spotting...

Got 2 BFPs at home & confirmed with primary doc today. Right @ 5 weeks. I started light spotting Friday Jan 13th & thought it was the star of my period, never got heavier so took the tests. :-) Concerned about the spotting still going on, mostly pink when i wipe, little red, but mostly light pink. And sometimes there is none, but most times there still is. Calling tomorrow to set up 1st OB appt, should I mention this? And should I be worried? First BFP after 13 months trying...just a little nervous about the spotting.

I would def mention it. It may be nothing, but they may just want to watch you a little closer, maybe take blood to check your betas etc. GL!

Could possibly still be some implantation bleeding or just normal spotting. I was spotting my 1st pregnancy and they confirmed it was due to me having twins. I, too, tried for about 13 or 14 months! I would call the OB, let them know adn let them decide if you should be seen. More often than not, they will see you to put your mind at ease.

Congrats on the BFP! Definitely let your doc know, they may want you to come in for blood work early. I spotted with this pregnancy from weeks 5 to 8, just heard the hb last week at the docs office and have had several good ultrasounds. I'll be more comfortable after my NT scan Friday ( I'm a few days over 11 weeks) good luck
