SO frustrated w/DH. RE: Britax...HELP!

I told MH in September that if he wanted another Britax Boulevard, that we should buy it then for $135 during the sale.

He said no because someone gave us another convertible car seat.

Now, he says, he hates that seat and wants me to buy another Boulevard!

Now what the_fuck do I do?  Is there any place that has a deal on them now?  Because I do not want to spend $300 on one now!

Benjamin is 2 pounds away from needing a convertible seat.

Would you consider the Marathon? there have been some good deals on it lately.  I got one last week on Amazon for under $200 - not sure if they still have it.  I have never seen the Boulevard for $135 - that was definitely a steal. :-(

You can get the graystone pattern on amazon for $185 I think.  It was still available yesterday.  Just search for Britax Marathon and search the patterns until you find the one for $185.

Oh man that is a bummer. I have a marathon and love it. I know when we were looking, there were lots of online sales for the marathon if you aren't picky on the pattern. I wanted the couture line and couldn't take advantage of the sale. There is a store in Gaithersburg (Great Beginnings) that puts out 20% off coupons and we used that for our marathon. I don't think Buy Buy Baby will apply 20% to carseats.

do you have a buy buy baby by you? They take 20% off coupons from bed bath and beyond. We bought out Britax there, got $50 off of it. And then we decided we wanted a bigger one, returned the one we bought (unopened), but forgot the receipt.

 They gave us store credit for the full price (we didn't realize at the time), and then when we bought a new one, we used 20% off again. Effectively, we saved $100. Screwed the store, but we didn't realize it till later!

I got an email from babyage.com a couple days ago that said Britax were on sale, but I didn't look at the site to see bc/ I'm not looking for a carseat, so I have no idea how good (or not) the sale actually is.  They give you free shipping if you sign up for the emails, too.
