What size shoe do you wear?  Do you like flats, heels, etc?  Tell me about your shoe life!

I wear a size 10, although sometimes 9.5 or 10.5 depending on the brand.  I love heels, but I haven't really worn any since P.  I tried, but it just isn't as fun to wear them now.  I still have my amazing shoe stash though! 

I like fun shoes, but I cannot wear white shoes - they look fine on other people, but I think they look silly on me.  Remember K-swiss?  I could never wear them, stoopid white shoes.

I'm a 7.5 or an 8 and love flats.  I wear those most of the time but like my converse or pumas on the weekends too.  I have a couple pairs of heels but never really learned to walk well in them so it's like a huge deal for me to wear them.

I wear a size 5, and I love that I can buy kids (cheaper) shoes (my hunter boots are kids size 3)  I used to wear heels everyday but now I live in flats... Heels can be scary with a toddler

I'm now devestated because of this thread.

I decided to search online for a picture of a pair of shoes from high school that I still cart around - my old chucks in a black gingham - I lurve them so so much.  They have holes in the canvas and the soles and they're stinky from years of wearing them without socks in the summer, but I just can't trash them.  

Anyway, I found out they have a baby version on piperlime!!!!  I could get B some of my old shoes, BUT they're out of the larger sizes.

I wear 7 1/2 or 8.  Pre-baby, I wore heels all the freaking time.  I never wore flats.  As soon as I got pregnant, I couldn't handle the heels any more, so now I'm a flats convert.

My shoes of choice:  flip flops when it's warm, Uggs when it's cold.  At work, I do wear high heels, but I kick them off as soon as I get to my desk.  If I walk in them for an extended period, my feet ache.

I don't really like wearing sneakers.

I have soooo many shoes- mostly dress /heeled shoes.  I loved shoe shopping when I was working.  Oh what fun I had.  Actually I have some (read atleast a dozen) shoes that I have only worn once- I love them but now I don't get dressed to go to work so I am giving the ones that I have only worn once to my sister- she wears the same size and is going to be doing an internship in the fall to finish her degree in social work. 

Now I wear slippers most of the day... if I go out I wear my nikes mostly.

I LOVE the look of heels, but can't wear them for long before wanting to throw them across the room. I usually wear ballet flats to dress up, but if I had my choice, I'd probably wear sneakers or comfy pull on boots everyday (like today).

How tall are you, if you don't mind?  I'm 5' 7"to 5' 8" and I always wanted to be 5' 10" growing up.

I am a size 11 in most casual shoes, 12 in dress shoes.  That, and being 6 foot tall, results in me wearing flats all the time.  I've convinced myself that my nice sketchers boots are appropriate work attire since there is a high likelihood that I can drop 30-50 lb boxes on my foot any given day.  I would like to buy more fancy shoes, but I'm pretty sure that the only places that carry them in my size would be store that cater to drag queens, and that's NMS.

I wear a 6.5 although I think my feet have become wider (blah) so sometimes a 7.  I love shoes! Heels, flats-you name it.  I prefer if they're a little funky.  I'll see if I can find a pip of my favs.  I also LOVE boots,  I have numerous pairs.

I used to be good in an 11. Now I'm closer to a 12 (anything that requires socks requires a 12.) My workout shoes are a men's 11.

I love anything comfy. Ballet flats are first choice. I also love heels but can't stand ankle straps because I feel like they always get so tight around my ankles and I have to unbuckle them. I also can never find trendy heels in my size because most places only carry up to a 10, like Bakers, Aldo, etc. Payless has my size, but nothing exciting in it (just black pumps, usually.)

I also love my slouchy boots. Every time I wear dresses and leggings, I wear the slouchy boots.

I wear a 10, and I don't care much for shoes. It's probably because they never have cute ones in my size. Almost all size 10's that I find are 10W, which don't fit me. Shoemakers assume that if you have big feet it's because you are heavy with fallen arches and wide, spread out feet. All the shoes in my size tend to be orthopedic too (disclaimer: I refuse to buy expensive shoes so that might be part of the problem). I do like the look of high heels, especially on petite women, but when I wear them I pretty much feel ridiculous. Plus, I am really bad at walking in anything higher than 2" or so. Even 2" heels kill my feet within a few hours.

wow, people's feet are bigger than I expected. 

I used to think I was an 8 narrow, so I'd sometimes cram into a 7.5 to help with the width problem. Then I got measured, and they said I was a 8.5 or 9 (still narrow...maybe uber-narrow, in fact, given that 8 regular was still too wide for me.)

I have no evidence that my feet got wider when I had DS, which I was honestly hoping for, because it's super hard to find narrow shoes. I'm not sure they are longer, either.

I wear a 5.5/6, mostly 6 since H.  I wear heels to work, even my dressy loafers have 1.5" on them.  But I am SHORT.  I obviously didn't wear heels last winter or most of the spring/summer, but this fall/winter, I'm back into heeled boots. 

 

In the summer and I'm not at work, I LOVE flip flops!

All of this. In fact, when we got married (DW on the beach), the logo of our wedding was flip flops. Even our invites were flip flops. Apparently we really like flip flops. :-)

I wear a 7.5 or 8 and have really narrow feet. I wear flats to work and only wear heels for special occasions, I've just never been very comfortable in them.

I love me some converse and wore some slip on ivory ones in my wedding since there was no way in hell I was going to be able to last all day in heels. DH wore some black high tops with his tux. My wedding shoes are all worn in now and super thrashed and dirty, but I can't let myself get rid of them. I just got a new black pair of converse for Xmas and I love them.

In the summer I pretty much live in reef flip flops.
