If you do or do not crap on the table esp if you have an epi, they clean it up SOOOO fast, you have layers of chux under your bum, they scoop it up and chuck it.
They change the chux every time they get too wet to keep it sanitary.
Yeah, I have no idea if I did with DS and when it came down to the moment, I so didn't care. After pushing for 2.5 hours, I'd have done whatever it took to get him out of there!
yeah i was in the room with my SIL and they swept it away so fast, she never knew until she asked me if she did. its seriously not a big deal. And everyone has told me, once you are at that stage in labor you don't care at all!!
my thing is, i am hoping to have a water birth..so if i poop in there, i will know! i heard they get a little fishing net lol.
Mom to 2 beautiful girls, 3 yrs and 22 months old. My 2nd was born at 32 weeks due to Rhogam failure/severe complications from Rh disease and is our miracle. She has bilateral auditory neuropathy and a cochlear implant, activated 4/5/2012 at 19 months.
I was just going to post that in the crapping post below! I was in the delivery room with my sister (holding a leg for her) and I didn't even notice if she did or not. Its funny when I hear girls in my birthing class all worried about going on the table...the nurses are trained to be professional and their quickness is amazing. Thats the last of my worries when I'm in delivery!
Haha ya, you may never know..unless you can smell it. ive been in deliveries where the whole room was super STANKY....Me and the rest of the NICU team chose to wait outside the room till the baby was out, then came in to do our assesment.
