I don't like Percocet

They gave me Percocet to take "as needed." I took it friday night, and then twice saturday. All it did was make me NOT sleep at all, and gave me a terrible tummy ache, so much so that I didn't even eat anything after lunch yesterday. I finally got some sleep last night though, but I'm still dealing with a tummy ache.

DH made me oatmeal this morning, which helped a little, and my parents are bringing Pen back today. Apparently she had fun, but a rough time. I think she's getting 4 teeth in. My poor dad sounded really tired when he called this morning! Anyway, I'm excited to have our little girl back, and glad to be feeling more towards the normal side! Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Painkillers always make me throw up. It's awful because you have to choose between the pain and the nausea. I'm not sure which is worse! During recovery from a shoulder surgery a few years ago I found that the magic combination was half a dose of Percocet + half a glass of wine No pain, no nausea. I'm sure my doctor wouldn't have been thrilled with it though.

I don't like Percocet either. I'm happy to hear you're feeling more normal, though. I hope Pen left her crankys with your (poor tired) parents and gives you lots of hugs and love today.

I'm glad you are feeling better and your LO is home again! Percocet made me ITCH like crazy after my csection! I hated it. I actually thought of you today in the car! Strange to be thinking about someone I don't know IRL. Big Smile I'm glad to hear you are doing okay.

It makes me feel terrible too. I usually have chosen the pain over the sickness. Hope the pain goes away quickly so you don't have to take it anymore. Glad P had a good time and that she's all smiles today!
