Impaired fasting blood glucose before pregnancy

Is there anyone who had impaired fasting blood glucose levels before pregnancy?  Did your OB monitor your levels earlier or just have you wait until the normal time to get tested for GD?

I had my first appointment with an OB.  I listed "impaired fasting blood glucose" on my intake forms.  After my appointment, I realized that she never asked anything about it.  Neither my family history nor my previous blood tests are in my records at her clinic because I see a family practitioner who is out of network.  She didn't check my glucose when she ordered the initial set of blood tests, but my urine test was negative for glucose. My levels have been 103-109 for the past several years.  I have relatives on both sides of the family who have Type 1 diabetes, as well as other relatives who have Type 2.  I am of advanced maternal age and overweight (not obese).  My next appointment is on Feb. 13 (15w2d) with a PA.
