I've posted a couple times but realized from others they made an intro and I've never done that! I'm in my 5th cycle of ttc. First cycle was just charting to get to know my cycle (and first cycle off the pill), 2nd was anovulatory (grrr), and last 2 cycles I actually was able to officially "try"!
So here's my question:
I've tried doing research on this but haven't had much luck. Anyone notice after coming off the pill their luteal phase gets longer each cycle? I'm not complaining b/c I don't want it to be short but when I read tcoyf it clearly states that it should only vary by 1 day. I've been very good about taking my temp same time everyday and my thermal shift is very obvious but my luteal phase has been 11 days, then 12 days, and now 13 days. Just wondering if anybody else has experienced this coming off the pill. Thanks!!!
Re: official intro and luteal phase question
Welcome. I think it's ok for it to vary by a day or 2. My first LP off BC was 13 days. Then it moved down to 12 days for about 5 cycles but last cycle it was 11days. It's probably your body still regulating itself after coming off the pill. Good luck in your TTC journey.

Welcome and good luck.
It is normal for your luteal phase to vary by a few days. It is also normal for your cycle to take several months to regulate after going off the pill, so some variation is normal.
