Clarify ObamaCare -no well visit copay- for me

Due to the ObamaCare taking effect, we received our copays for both boys well visits back. (appt. was in Jan). Does anyone know if that means each of the well visits this year for LO will be copay free or is it only one per year. I'm reading conflicting info.

I don't know, but wanted to say that DS's well visits all throughout his 1st year were free, then I was surprised at his 1 yr appt I had to suddenly pay the copay for that visit. So maybe it's just an individual insurance company/policy thing?

I don't know either, but I think it is specific to your policy. Ours covers well visits up to some age (18 maybe?) with no copay. We've paid nothing for H's care so far.

We've always had a $15 copay. According to the nurse from the ped.'s office, the office is no longer allowed to accept well visit copays starting Jan. 1, 2012 due to the bill being passed. I'm just not sure if it'll be for all of the well visits this year. I looked online and it wasn't clear.

We still have to pay $25 per visit and I am supposed to have "good insurance"...
