Does the Vicks on feet work for your lo?

The plague of 2012 continues at my house. Eliza has an awful cough that kept her up most if the night. We elevated her mattress, did baby Vicks, hylands cough & cold & , nose frieda. 

Tonight I'm adding in the humidifier & Vicks on the feet with socks,

Any experiences either way?

I've never done Vick's on the feet...is that in lieu of their chest or do you do both?

Feet doesn't work for us, so we do chest. It helps, but isn't a cure all.

i have never put it on them - but use the plug in things - and they seem to help a bit... nothing is a magic cure though.

We do both....it seems to help but I can't say it would make a difference if we only did chest.

I did both. Baby Vicks on chest & regular on feet. Not sure if it's just an old wives tales, but people swear rubbing it into the soles of feet & then putting on heavy socks helps quiet a cough. No harm in trying, I figured.

Thrilled to report that it helped! I did it in conjunction with honey elixir and got the humidifier going, so I can't say for sure it was the Vicks, but she slept all night, no coughing! Woooooohooooooo!
