Package from Abby's Lane smells like smoke

So I got 2 PW wet/dry bags in the mail today from Abby's Lane.  I was SO excited until the moment I opened the package.  All I could smell was cigarette smoke!  The bags, package, even the business card inside REEK of smoke!   I know that I'm very sensitive to that smell (can't stand it!), but WTF?!  I've never had any other package/mail arrive like that.  This was my first time ordering from this company.  Anyone else ever had this happen?  I plan on contacting them and seeing what they say.  My bags are hanging outside on the railing right now to air out.

It's probably your mail carrier. The guy who used to run our UPS route smoked in his truck. Anything that came via UPS reeeeeeked. It was disgusting.

I considered that possibility, but we have never received anything else in the mail that has smelled like this.  And it was with our regular mail, not from a UPS truck.  Weird.

That's weird.  I've gotten packages from there and didn't stink like that (in fact I thnk it was my pail liners in one pack and diapers in a different shipment).  Maybe call them and ask?

I've ordered from her with no problems. I think it actually smelled flowery when I got it, so  I'm not sure. She's really personable, though, so email or call with yoru concern. She'll probably swap it out for you.

Definitely contact the store. I ordered about half of my NB stash from them and have been in the store. I cannot imagine that the source was from Abby's Lane. And I would wash the bags too. The smell should come right out if the bags weren't used for long periods of time.

That's really the only store I order from and I've never had an issue like that!  I would just call them and ask about it- everyone is really sweet over there and i'm sure they will be happy to replace the items.  I would also guess that its the mail carrier though.  I can't imagine the ladies from abbys lane sending out something full of smoke.
