  • First, congrats and welcome!  That is a wonderful beta!  Second, yes, feeling crampy is completely normal. Your body is preparing to house a baby for the next nine months, so it is stretching and getting ready.  The  best thing you can do right now is to relax (yes, I also hated when people told me that in the first tri!) and put your feet up as often as you can.  Good luck and I can't wait to hear about your doubling beta!

  • Feeling nervous is totally normal and feeling crampy is normal.  I got my BFP on a HPT and before my beta had horrible cramping.  It was so bad we were at a friends house for dinner and I couldn't eat a thing and we had to leave before they even had time to bring out dessert.  I felt so bad!  I thought for sure my period was going to start or that I'd start spotting and thankfully neither of those things happened.  I still get a crampy feeling a few times a week.  Hang in there it's hard not to be scared and nervous.

Good luck with your next beta!

  • Congratulations!

Right after my BFP I always felt like AF was coming. I  was crampy most of the time.  I think what you are feeling is normal.  BTW-my first beta was only 14.5.  So your Beta is awesome!

  • I had lots of cramping around the time of my bfp and first betas, too.  It's normal, but it scared me too, so I know what you mean.  Congrats and good luck!
  • I missed last night's post, so congratulations and welcome!!  As for the cramping - TOTALLY normal!  I had cramping all through the 1st tri with Evan!
