Hi all. It is our first month TTC and I'm so excited! I have been reading the boards here for a few months now and have been learning about charting, OPKs, etc. I was diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago so am very anxious about this whole process. It is my third month off the Nuvaring and according to FF I have been ovulating very late (day 23 or so).
However, just noticed a huge temp drop this morning. Is it possible that (i) my ovulation is still all over the place and I am ovulating today or (ii) maybe FF is wrong and I am a slow riser (the last cycle I noticed a bunch of temperatures at or near the coverline and had a 7 day luteal phase)?

Thanks for any advice you have!
Re: Intro and Chart Stalk!
A single temp has no significance. You should focus on an overall pattern. You won't know if today's temp signals O until you have at least 3 temps higher than the previous 6. Time will tell.
It takes some women several months to adjust after coming off birth control. Give it a little more time. Lots of luck!

Welcome. Your cycles can take several months or longer to regulate after going off of hormonal birth control. Your temp drop could be due to increasing estrogen in your system, which rises leading up to ovulation.
You're on the right track though. Patience is key.
