While I know that organic is best, I don't even pretend that I'm going to go that route. We wouldn't be able to afford it, and I think there are plenty of other healthy options out there.

I think "spa" gifts are the dumbest gifts ever. I hate when people give me soaps, bubble baths, etc. It makes me feel like they think I need to bathe more. I have an entire closet shelf full of soaps and other bath-related items that I have gotten for gifts just in the past 2 years. If you want me to be pampered, bypass Bath and Body Works and get me a gift certificate for a pedicure or a massage.

Haha, I think I'm the odd man out on this one, as I know many who really hate getting Bath & Body Works crap, but I love love LOVE that stuff. Like, all of it. I always HOPE to get it. I don't usually give it, though, as I know a lot of people hate it.

Haha, I don't like them, either. I have sensitive skin and I don't like a lot of fragrance-y stuff so most of it ends up getting tossed or given to someone else when I get it.
I, too, am not pretending we're all organic because it's not in our budget. I do buy organic milk for DS and some stuff we eat is organic but probably not more than 50%.
My UO (which may not really be a UO) is that I can't see how people spend more than like $10 on a piece of baby clothing except for special occasion-type stuff. I'm sure if I had more disposable income (or a girl, lol) I'd go a little crazier but the people on 12-24 who buy a lot of smocked clothes and fancy stuff, I just can't see it. I think I spent $20 on a sweater for DS' photos/the holidays and it hurt me to do so. I didn't even spend that much on his winter coat, lol.
On the other hand, I'll spend $30 on a pair of quality shoes for him.

Totally agree and I have a girl. If it's not on sale I'm not getting it.
My UO is that I'm sick of breast cancer awareness. I am pretty sure everyone is aware it exists and its terrible. If you want to stop it stop posting cryptic BS on your FB walls and if you're a buisness stop decorating in pink light bulbs or ribbons or dying your plastic bags pink and donate some money for research.
When H irritates me I tell him nasty stuff that happened at work (I'm an RN, so uh, there is never a shortage of nastiness) under the guise of just talking about my day.
Maybe that's more of a FFFC, but I had to get it out, lol. UO because only I think it's hilarious?

Yeah but not gonna lie, I kind of love this shirt and would buy it for a child whose mom has breast cancer.

Even I'm not cynical enough to not tear up think about a four year old in that shirt.
But I hate the "Save the Boobies" campaign, that's just sexist. I'll make an exception for the image that Mands has in her siggie that says "Save the boobies cause a baby's got to eat" because that does double duty by raising BF awareness too.

ditto the bolded! I have an accumulation of stuff that I will never use b/c I have sensitive skin. Also the scented lotions are always this huge @ss bottle that even if I did use a dab of it everyday, would probably last about 10 years. I have a few collections displayed on our space saver/over the toilet shelving in our 1/2 bath. That's about as much use as I'll get out of them.
