My desk at work and at home are both a mess to the untrained eye. I know where everything is and each pile means somthing.

I don't have one at work, but our home office in the old house looked chaotic.  However, I knew where everything was.

at home - it's an organized mess. DH just piles things on top of things and he always know where to find what he needs. If I try to clean up, he'll never find anything.

At work - it's here and there 50% clean. I have piles and folders everywhere....
