Baby.  Boo.  Well, yay that it's a baby, but boo that we couldn't find out.

And we don't know anymore than it has 2 arms, 2 legs and likes to suck it's fingers.  The techs here aren't allowed to tell us anything.  Oh well, midwife appointment in 2 days.

We've opted for an elective in 2 weeks to hopefully find out then.

I can't believe the techs aren't allowed to tell you anything.  That would drive me bonkers!  Thank goodness for elective u/s.

I'd be going crazy if the u/s tech couldn't tell me anything! We did an elective and the LO didn't cooperate with us and 1) kept its legs closed tightly and 2) put a hand down there for good measure, just to make sure we didn't see anything. Now, we have to wait until the 30th. Oh well, it was nice just to see the baby.

That's exactly what baby did for us too.  And the tech isn't even allowed to say if he/she's healthy or if there's any potential problems.  They do measurements and the midwife diagnoses.  But, baby looked good, heart was beating and babe was flailing.  Thursday's appointment with the midwife just can't come fast enough though.
