I posted last week about feeling overwhelmed/blah/disengaged from the kids. My mood is a little better this week, and I think it's because I've been able to get out more. We did a quick overnight trip as a family to visit some good friends, and it was great to hang out together while the kids played. I had playdates for the kids on Friday and yesterday, which helped to break up the long days at home. And last night I had a girls night out and got to have a yummy chocolate dessert and hard cider. Now if only I could find time to exercise and use my sunlamp (light therapy)...

Re: feeling a bit better this week
Socialization for me and the girls is the best thing to get me out of a rut.
I am glad you are feeling better!
Socialization is KEY for me also. I know if I am home all day long I start to lose my mind..
I am also glad you are feeling better!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I agree. Though, some days I just want to give up when trying to get the kids out of the house (can you say double-toddler meltdown as you walk out the door? -or triple in your case!), I know in the end getting out will make our day better.
I'm glad you are feeling better:)
