Success after IF

feeling a bit better this week

I posted last week about feeling overwhelmed/blah/disengaged from the kids. My mood is a little better this week, and I think it's because I've been able to get out more. We did a quick overnight trip as a family to visit some good friends, and it was great to hang out together while the kids played. I had playdates for the kids on Friday and yesterday, which helped to break up the long days at home. And last night I had a girls night out and got to have a yummy chocolate dessert and hard cider. Now if only I could find time to exercise and use my sunlamp (light therapy)...

  • Socialization for me and the girls is the best thing to get me out of a rut.

I am glad you are feeling better! :)

Socialization is KEY for me also. I know if I am home all day long I start to lose my mind..

I am also glad you are feeling better!

  • I find my busier week's are easier to handle too.  If we have play dates, classes, shoot even doctor's appointments planned it seems to make the days not drag as much.  I'm glad you're feeling better this week.  This cold weather and being cooped inside all day is not fun!

  • Yay! The weeks I get out of the house are so much better than weeks we are cooped up. Glad things are better!
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I agree. Though, some days I just want to give up when trying to get the kids out of the house (can you say double-toddler meltdown as you walk out the door? -or triple in your case!), I know in the end getting out will make our day better.

I'm glad you are feeling better:)
