"interesting" girl middle name suggestions wanted

We're seriously considering Jane as a first name, and would like some middle name ideas.

Because Jane is so simple and short, we're wanting something longer and a bit more adventurous for a middle name.

So far we have:

Ophelia, Magnolia, Hermione.

Our last name rhymes with Bigger.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I am really partial to Alanna. By the way, Jane is a beautiful name, not too crazy, not too common. I really like it.

My 2 thoughts were Penelope and Evangeline, as well!  I also LOVE magnolia!

Jane is sweet. Just ok to me, kind of plain, but rather sweet. I see what you mean about wanting a "more adventurous" MN. I'm not crazy about Hermione but I love Ophelia and Magnolia is ok. I also like Penelope, as suggested by pps.

Rosalind also is very pretty, just to throw out another suggestion.

I LOVE all of your names! I personally think Ophelia is a great fn, with Jane as the mn. Elizabeth and Ophelia sound like a nice sib-set to me. Jane is nice too, though.

If you're definitely using Jane as the middle name, I would use Hermione as the middle name. It is so beautiful and underused. Magnolia is beautiful as well, but I would use Hermione or Ophelia first.

If you want interesting, have you consulted your family tree? It might be nice if there was a reason for her mn, as opposed to just "we needed something spice up your first name."

Either first or last names that married in. My sister was given an old family surname, she has a classic name like Jane too.

oooooh I LOVE this idea.  I love unusual middle names, and with Jane you can go really unusual and not have it be weird. 

my guilty pleasure is nature-inspired names.  I would totally use something like Wren, Magnolia, Serenity, Zinnia, Dahlia, Summer etc.
