appt. too soon?

Hello Ladies!  I am new to the bump.  I am 4weeks pregnant.  I called to schedule an appt. and they scheduled me in on Feb. 1st--6w3d.  Is this too soon?

Welcome! Nope, it depends on the doctor's policies/preferences, and any issues you may have had in the past or might face in the future. I went to a clinic at 3w5d, the day after getting my BFP, and had blood drawn. I saw them a couple times a week and I just transferred to a MFM at the hospital I'll be at. She wanted to see me at 7w1d and I'll go back within a week.

Nope, it will probably be paper work and some educating.

I had an appt the week after my BFP, but it was my already scheduled annual exam..just happened to find out we were pregnant.  I ended up switching clinics and doctors after that appt and was seen at 8 weeks to confirm the pregnancy and do introductions.  My "first" OB appt isn't for 3 more weeks.  Agree with pp, probably paperwork and education...not much to do at this point.

i had my first app at 11weeks but didnt see my baby until 12weeks and 1day its really up to u baby is still small thou so u should wait a few more weeks but just my opinion good luck

That's not too early! They will most likely do a pap and blood work, and ask a lot of health related questions of you and your baby daddy, so bring him along if you can!

If they do an U/S you might even be able to see the heartbeat, that's when we say ours (at 6ish weeks!)
