Oy. SNOW DAY today!!

Holy moly . . .

Yesterday we got hit out the blue with the most RIDICULOUS snow storm, it was so bad that we couldn't get the kids out of school, and my school was the first one to be dismissed at 5:00 p.m. (and that only because we'd been without power since noon, and it was getting COLD and DARK!).  My mom teaches at the Middle School, and they were finally dismissed at around 7:45, and there were still two schools to dismiss after that.  It was insanity!

Today, our schools are still mostly without power, so we have the day off.  I just can't believe it's not even HALLOWEEN and we are having a snow day!!!

Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me with her power!!

I can't believe the snow either. We didn't get any here around Philly but up north sounded like it got hit pretty hard!

I love snow but this is SOOOO soon!
