DH gone for at least 3 more weeks..... :-(

My DH was sent across the country for work two weeks ago for a "three week" project. Now it's looking like Feb 7 is the best scenario. This sucks. Poor LO won't see her daddy for over a month, poor DH has to be away from us and stuck in a hotel room working 72 hours a week all night shifts, and poor me having to work full time (plus) at my stressful job while being a single parent.

Pity party for three, right over here.

Oh, wow. That really sucks. Pity party away, I would. Sorry, and because saying it once wasn't enough-Thats sucks.

Blech! That sucks! I don't know how the single moms do it....big props! I hope the time flies by. Do you guys skype so Lo can "see" dad?

Thanks ladies. I know it could be much worse but I'm just gloomy about the news, you know?

We skype most nights for LOs dinner and bath but I spend the whole time running around packing her lunch, making her dinner etc. So DH and LO get to skype, but I'm too busy to sit there for long.

aw man.. that blows! i'm so sorry. my DH is working this weekend and i'm all bummed about it. a month?? i'd go bonkers. i'm sorry. hope it flies by!

That really sucks.  My DH used to travel constantly right after we got married and I hated it.  I can imagine it is doubly difficult now having a LO.  Is there any way you guys could make a trip to see him?

I'm so sorry. That does suck. They don't at least give him a trip home once every couple of weeks or something?? I'm sure you will all make it through fine, but I don't blame you for being sad. I'd throw a big ol' pity party, too!

I'm sorry  My H is gone for a month right now, too, so I can relate all too well.  It pretty much totally blows, go 'head and throw yourself a pity party!

That's totally pity party worthy.  I'm sorry.  If' you've got the wiggle room in your budget, I say splurge on a cleaning person to give yourself a break from keeping up with the house.
