NYC Ladies (nsaifr)

I'm thinking about planning a surprise anniversary trip to NYC for my husband and I (maybe the end of April-ish). I don't want to be away from the boys too long so I was thinking about an early flight out on a friday and coming back on a late flight saturday. We are in Chicago so it's not too bad of a flight.

If you had 36 hrs in NYC, what would you do? I know we want to go to ground zero, but other than that?? Where would you stay? TIA!!

Well, if you want to do touristy stuff you can easily get to the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island from Ground Zero. There is also the South Street Seaport and walking around that whole area. 

There are also tons of museums and shows to see. It all depends on what you'd like to do!
