clogged duct - help!

i'm pretty sure i have a clogged milk duct. random sore lump that just appeared. i have a doctor's appt. tomorrow anyway so i'll have them check to be sure, but i was wondering if anyone had any tips for getting rid of this. thanks ladies!

Massage it while dc is nursing or while you're pumping. Also, you can apply a warm compress to the area. You can also nurse in a way that allows your dc's chin to point toward the lump. I hope you feel better soon. When my milk was regulating I got clogged ducts like crazy. It was horrible. GL!

Hot showers, massage, nurse,nurse, nurse!!!! If you have a pump, use a hotpack first, and pump to the highest setting you can tolerate, leaning forward helps too. Keep applying that hotpack if the clog has not been dislodged with all these. It helps!

I've only had one and it was awful!   Felt like a ginormious bruise!   Massage while pumping did it for me!  GL!
