I think DH likes my parents.  I think he probably wishes they weren't necessarily living a street away from us but I know he appreciates all the help.

DH loves my parents but they do tend to kind of take over a little. ?

my parents get along great with my DH.  They are wonderful grandparents, but they are a bit overbearing.  They come to visit and kind of take over the house - they even come to DD's room when she cries in the middle of the night!  Yeah, a bit weird.

DH HATES my family. They're so different from his that he just doesn't understand how to deal with them. They believe that everyone's personal business is public knowledge. My family is VERY close and overbearing to a point, and dh's is more distant, so it makes him angry when they try to butt in to everything. I grew up with it, so I don't even really see it.

DH likes my family.  He gets annoyed with my dad sometimes because my dad is a little "quirky."  Nothing bad just quirky and DH isn't used to it.

My mom can be a bit overbearing at times, but I appreciate that I can tell her to back off.  All in all, she's alright.  He doesn't really have any problems with my dad.

My mom hates my DH and hasn't talked to us since June, so yeah she's crazy! He can't stand her. He says even if we do start talking again, (she does this all the time) he doesn't want to ever talk to her again. It doesn't bother me any... My mom is that crazy MIL though!

My dad, stepmom and stepdad are awesome though. He loves them!
