I will start. We have been having a heckuva time getting P to nap on the weekends. Some of it was that she was sick, the rest - who knows. Well, I FINALLY asked daycare what their schedule was, since she naps 2.5 hours there. (She also naps 2-2.5 hours at anyone else's house but ours)
It turns out that they nap from 11:30 - 2. So I asked if they ate lunch at 2. Um, they eat at 11. Guess what we've been doing at home? Eating at like 12, 12:30, or 1. Oh em gee. Can you say morons? I feel bad for our child, like really. ::facepalm::
We will see if this helps. lol. When I told DH, he too said, "ohhhhh, that explains a lot." ::double facepalm::
DS has been having a heck of a time with teething this week. His gums are just so swollen and puffy. I can barely see tooth #6 coming through, so hopefully we are almost done. It seems like he gets worse and worse with each tooth. He's started waking up at night (never has before with other teeth, he's been STTN since 4 months old). I am SO TIRED.
But, I guess my FFFC is that my MIL is watching DS at her house overnight Saturday night and most of the day Sunday. DH is on a business trip and doesn't get home until Sunday night. So that means I'll have like almost 24 hours totally to myself and I'm sooooo looking forward to it.
I'm going out to dinner with a friend Sat night and SLEEPING IN on Sunday. It's going to be amazing and I kinda can't wait.
one more: when DS drops reasonably dry food (e.g. cheerios, not banana) off of his high chair tray and onto the floor, I pick it up off the ground and feed it to him (as long as it passes the look test). We don't wear shoes in the house so the floor doesn't have reason to get that nasty, but we also don't clean the floor every day or anything. meh.
Working at a daycare I've done my fair share of judging parents over the years. However, now that I'm a parent I judge fellow parents way more than I used to. Flame away if you need to but when I spend as much time with these kids a week as they do and I get to see first hand all the bad habits and craptacular decisions they are making it is hard not to judge.
We did our first stroller strides class today at the zoo and instead of hanging out afterwards to look at animals, I packed A back up and headed home (I got my butt kicked!) Maybe next week he'll get to see a monkey or giraffe.
Wow. I didn't think I had anything to confess. But I don't own a brush either, G eats off the floor all the time (things fall, what can you do?) and he pretty much watches TV every day. Not ALL day by any means, but at least Sesame Street and Yo Gabba Gabba once or twice.
And I only shower a couple times a week. I guess I am a dirty girl, ha!
I haven't made a good dinner all week. DH doesn't eat most processed foods and has been working night shift. So I've been sending him salads, sandwiches, and soups that I have in the freezer. I know that he's getting sick of it so I told him that I'll make a menu tonight for the week.
I am drinking wine and listening to 80's & 90's rock videos on youtube while DH puts a bench together........the night started really up beat but am currently on to Cinderella's "Don't know what you got til' it's gone" I am predicting an ugly crash soon.

I don't either. I just have a wide-toothed comb that I use when I blow dry it in the mornings.
I also confess that eventhough I asked for a blow dryer for Christmas last year and recieved one I stopped using it when DD was born.
