Is it a good thing if a daycare/preschool observes the child and interviews the parents before deciding if the child will be allowed to enroll there bc it shows they really take it seriously or do you think it is a bad thing.....no diversity, too competitive, etc.
I'm personally not a fan....it would be an automatic turn off to me, but I have friends who think of it as a bonus.

I don't know. I had to "interview" to get into my Kindergarten (started when Iwas 4, interviewed at 3)...a lot of pre-schools here do it, especially private ones that are affiliated with older grades. Since they assume you will stay in the school through the following years they interview you. Not a big deal IMO.
