Love the name Elise. It was actually on my list of possible names, but I liked the spelling "Elyse" better. And I don't know anyone named Elise.

I know one and she's probably in her 50s.  She spells it Elise, but I prefer Elyse on this name.  Looks prettier.  I generally prefer names that don't have a Y in the middle, but for some reason this one just looks nicer to my eye.

My MN is Alyce (pronounced like Elise) and my neighbor is Elise and she is in her 40s.  Other than that I had never met anyone with the name.
