If you've never had one before, you probably want to go to a doc who sees them regularly to be sure that's what you have. If you don't have a GP, is there any chance you could get a recommendation for one from a friend for this? or get in to see an ENT (probably harder and possibly overkill, but I my ENT, so I always recommend going to see one)?
General doctor or urgent care. Generally they won't give antibiotics until you've had symptoms for 7-10 days. Possible symptoms are nasal drainage, sinus pain/pressure, sore throat, cough, ear pain, tooth pain, green nasal discharge.
I don't have a GP either so I found an ENT. PP hit it with the symptoms. I had the drainage/cough. It is hell. Seriously though you could see either ENT, GP or urgent care; for me it is a matter of who can get me the Rx quickest. Nettie and hymidifier def helps somewhat, but you do need the Rx.

I'm in MG too! lol I would go to the Park Nicollet in MG. They have urgent care and the wait is usually pretty non-existent. You get in and out super fast, usually. No sense in suffering. Your symptoms are consistent with a sinus infection. I'm currently on an antibiotic for one, too. They are miserable!!

i go see my ENT when i have them. my regular doc put me on some lightweight antibiotics the first time i got one and they didn't help at all.
my ENT saw the rx and laughed! anyway, i vote for finding an ENT. hope you feel better soon, sinus infections are terrible!
