My baby turns 8 today!

My oldest daughter is 8 today.  I can't believe it really.  It seems like not that long ago it was just me and her.  She was such a sweet little baby, and now she is a wonderful girl.  

Guess what she wanted for her birthday - a Harry Potter wand - she asked for Ginny's wand.  She likes to pretend she is Ginny because Ginny ends up with Harry Potter.  Too silly.

Aw, Happy Birthday!

I love that she loves Harry Potter and I love YOU for not being afraid to let her watch/read Harry Potter.

(My niece is 8 and a half and just got the first book, but my sister and her boyfriend are "freaking out" about her reading it because of the witchcraft issue. I just told her that HP is really about how much Jesus loves us and now she's not freaking out so much.)
