Hopefully it sinks in before someone else tries to "help" her kid. A dad tried this once before, and I think he was charged with child abuse because it was "humiliation" and "emotionally damaging" to the kid.
Is anyone else surprised that she actually got him to do this? Sounds like he's had a pretty extensive criminal history for a 14 year old, but yet he put his tail between his legs and went out on a corner with a sign on for his mama! Hahaha! I think it's great...just surprising!

I thought that too..I kinda think Momma is a badass.

Agreed.
I stole a pack of ribbons from the grocery store when I was 7. My mom made me empty my piggy bank and go to the mangaer and admit what I had done and pay him. It was humiliating, but I have never stolen anything else. To this day if a cashier accidentally doesn't charge me for something I bought, I go back and pay b/c of that lesson. Hope it works

Hm, well, I guess I'm alone, but that is NMS. Scarlet letter much? How does she think this is going to help her son? She's teaching him to be afraid of being caught, not why his actions were wrong. IDK, I think it's stupid.
But thanks for sharing! It's interesting, no matter if you agree with that lady or not.
