Folow Up to Who got pg right after BCP?

For those of you who got BFP shortly after going off of birth control were you charting and taking ovulation tests or did you just let nature take its course and see what happened?

I charted and used OPKs. I took two weeks of the BC pack and then stopped. It took my body about 20 days to O after I took my last pill. Everyone's different coming off the pill, though. Just my experience.

It just depends on how quickly you want to be KTFU, though obviously charting, etc. doesn't *guarantee* quicker results. GL!

With both I didn't do anything really. I figured that if it was meant to happen to us I would just let nature take it's course. Keeping in mind that if after a few cycles nothing happened then I would chart and do stuff to help us out.

I knew when I ovulated (or close to at least-I didn't take any tests, just counting from my period) so we just had sex around those days. We just had fun!

We got pregnant on the 2nd cycle. I didn't chart, just figured we'd do our thing and let nature take its course

I stopped the pill in September (after about 18 years on it), took October "off" (I had recently returned from a trip where I had been taking an anti-malaria med. and they recommend you wait about 2 months after the last dose before conceiving) and we got pregnant in November. I couldn't be bothered to chart, it looked way too complicated and daunting, so I just use the ovulation test kit and got lucky, I guess.
