I am due in less than three weeks and we can't decide on a name for our little girl. Here are the names we have picked out. Please give us your honest opinions as we are not telling family and friends. We know everyone will not like our names but we want something different without being too crazy! Or maybe you have other suggestions that would be similar to our style. Thanks for the help. I hope we have a name before we go to the hospital!!
Names = Berkley, Sawyer, Myla, Harper
Names with potential middle name options =
Sawyer Elle
Sawyer Marie
Sawyer Maggie
Berkley Elle
Myla Elle
Harper Elle
Re: Opinions on baby girl names...due Jan 30th! We can't decide!
Sawyer Elle. Don't like Sayer for a girl and the combination does not flow
Sawyer Marie Don't like Sawyer for a girl but better FN-MN flow
Sawyer Maggie No, no
Berkley Elle. Don't like at all
Myla Elle Favorite choice for first name
Harper Elle Second choice
I don't think the MN Elle sounds good with any of your FN choices

I knew a baby boy named Berkeley...it sounds very BOY to me and so does Sawyer. You may want to consider she possibly would be in her class with little boys with that same name.
Myla or Harper would be my picks of those choices although they are not my style. Other suggestions you may like:::
Rochelle
Amina
Mila
Elnora (Nora)
Delia
Dahlia
Nola
Willa
Nella
Carys
Sorrel
Zinnia
Piper
Georgia
Juliette
Nina
Hazel
Aurora
I like Sawyer, but not with any of those middle names. I do not like Myla Elle or Harper Elle.
I like Myla or Harper. Don't care for Sawyer or Berkley on a girl.
Would you consider using Elle as part of the middle name rather than the full middle name? I think it would improve the flow of the name...
Myla Isabelle
Harper Isabelle
Myla Annabelle
Harper Annabelle
Harper Michelle
Myla Danielle
Harper Danielle
Myla Adelle
Harper Adelle
Harper Noelle
Myla Gabrielle
Harper Gabrielle
love Sawyer
the only combo that sounds good is with Marie
go for it different is good
I like Myla & Harper, but not with Elle. I don't really care for the others.
I actually really like Berkley for a girl
I think Harper is cute too!
And I like Marie for a MN for either... I think Elle is a beautiful name but not sure it glows as well with those names.
Good luck and have fun!
I think Berkley and Sawyer sound very masculine. The only Sawyer I know, is a boy.
I think Myla is cute, and I like Harper ok. I love Elle as a middle name, but am not sure about the flow with some of your fn choices.
What about Carrigan? A friend recently named her baby girl that, and it seems (to me) to be a similar style to what you like. Good luck!
I also think that Berkley and Sawyer sound too masculine to name your little girl.
I like Harper and Myla...both with Marie as a middle name (even with the alliteration, I don't mind Myla Marie).
I like a lot of the names other PP suggested above. My only other suggestion would be Sloane.

agree
Myla Elle gets my vote. However, I like Elle the best of all of your names.
I really dislike Berkley. It reminds me of the university and sounds masculine. Sawyer sounds masculine as well.
Harper is being used on girls quite a bit but it sounds quite harsh.
Thanks for the opinions. My mom's name is Rochelle, which is why I was trying to use "Elle" as a middle name. It may not work with our first name selections. We actually like the names even though they may seem too masculine to some people. My husband is set on Sawyer and I'm just not sure. I think Sawyer Marie is probably the best option if we want to use a family middle name. Any suggestions on middle names that go with Berkley.
We still like our first name choices = Berkley, Sawyer, Harper, Mila and we even like Landri
Other family middle name options:
Rose
Katherine or Kate
Kay
Mary
Elle
Ann
Thanks again for the suggestions. We are so excited to finally meet our little girl!
Myla is the only one that I like from your list.
Harper is overdone and sounds like Harpy.
Sawyer, besides being very masculine, sounds like someone with a southern accent saying "I saw yer dog".
This.
I don't like Sawyer for a girl, and Berkley is nms.
I LOVE Myla & Harper, but would go with Myla!
My DS is Berkeley... so I think of it as a boy name... but LOVE the name!
I prefer Harper over Myla
If you go with Berkeley, please spell it correctly. Using a misspelled place name is just embarrassing. Even if you have some rationale, people are going to think you just didn't know how to spell Berkeley.
