1st Trimester

7 weeks and pretty much symptomless

WIth my first pregnancy at around 5 weeks I started having nausea and breast tenderness. This lasted until around 12ish weeks. Now currently with my second pregnancy I'm 7 weeks and the only "symptoms" Im having is slight fatigue and a sensitive gag reflex. I have NO breast tenderness and NO nausea.I had an US done last week to ease my mind. There WAS a heartbeat. I'm doing my blood panels tomorrow but I'm just nervous because this pregnancy is so different. If I didn't take a test and see a heartbeat I wouldn't think I was pregnant.Anyone else have pregnancies that were completely different and got to take your babies home?

Re: 7 weeks and pretty much symptomless

  • Just lurking here, but with my DD, I didn't feel any nausea until 14 weeks. Normally that's when nausea stops for women, but not for me. The only symptoms I felt in my 1st tri was the need to pee all the time and I gained a few pounds. I didn't really feel pregnant until I felt the baby move around 14 weeks.

Each pregnancy is different. As long as the doctors aren't concerned, you should be fine! :)

  • I agree w/PP's. It's completely normal to have more or less symptoms with each pregnancy.

  • I don't have any symptoms either! I didn't have many the first time around, so I'm not worrying myself over it. It's completely normal for some people.

  • I am 7 weeks too and practically symptomless! Sore boobs and a slight loss of appetite/nothing sounds good, but no morning sickness or anything. Oh and also breaking out like I'm 13 again, it's awesome. I can't wait for my first appt next week so this will start feeling REAL!

  • This pregnancy is completely different.  With DD I was sick as a dog for 5-6 weeks with vomiting and migraines.  This time I have practically no m/s aside from this past weekend when I vomited twice and I feel great.  I hope it continues.

  • with my son i had no symptoms! i didn't even know i was pregnant until i was about 8 weeks along. after i realized i was pregnant i was like, well yeah that makes sense my boobs are huge! but other than that i was never sick and i guess i really had no other "symptoms"

with this one i got my bfp with first response super early before i even "missed" my period. i had no symptoms until week 5 or 6 when i was totally hit was m/s and exhausted all the time!

i'd like to think girl vs. boy pregnancy, but we're team green and really that's just an old wives tale. i have 2 friends who have 2 boys and both told me they were super sick with their 2nd and not at all with their first....but i still have a feeling it's a girl this time around.

  • I can't tell you how relieved I feel after reading this post and all the responses. I am 7 weeks, too, and I had nausea and some vomiting last week, along with sore boobs, fatigue and frequent urination. But for the past four days I have had no nausea/vomiting at all and it started worrying me. We had our first doctor's visit on Monday and had an u/s and saw the baby and the heartbeat and everything is looking good, thankfully. But it's so hard not to worry when you start feeling good! I get slightly freaked out if my boobs don't hurt quite as much as they did a few hours ago! Gosh, it's mentally exhausting. But I just have to stay positive and keep looking at my baby's first picture and praying for a good outcome.

  • I didn't have any symptoms until almost week 8, then I was sick as a dog all day every day until well over week 14. It got a LOT worse at week 11. Last time I vomited was christmas day. There's always time for it to catch up with you

  • I am pretty much in the same ballpark. Just really tired mainly and have an insane sense of smell. I just consider myself lucky this time around.

  • I don't really have any symptoms either (also 7 weeks).  My chest was really sore for a few weeks, but that's lessened significantly.  I have no nausea or morning sickness, but I am so, so, so tired.  I feel like every afternoon I am just out of gas, and all I want to do is curl up in bed.
