We've gotten some sausage from Costco recently that was pretty gnarly. I'd love to get some good sausage to put on our pizza (or just to grill) but it would be nice to have some without the gristly nastiness. Any recommendations?

Go to Vons and pick up the mild italian bulk sausage. I think it mentions new york on it and it has a picture of a pepper or something. It should be on a small pink or yellow styrofoam tray and wrapped in plastic. It is super yummy. I haven't tried to make our own pizza for a while but it is really good crumbled up and browned and tossed into some pasta and tomatoe sauce. No gristle but your hands will feel greasy from crumbling it.
