So, I received a bunch of milk from a donor from HM4HB, and was going to get the prenatal screening results from her later.
It's been a few days and no screening results.
DH is creeped out by using donor milk from a complete stranger. And now that she isn't sending any of the results, he's adamant we don't use it. A bumpie has offered me some of hers, and he is more comfortable with that
I don't want to twist his arm (especially since he's more comfortable with the bumpie's) but I would feel HORRIBLE throwing out anyone's hard earned pumpings. But I don't think I can donate it anywhere without those results!
What the heck do I do? How long should we wait for the prenatal screening?
Re: Donor Milk ettiquette
Hmm...when I've donated my milk, I have not been asked for those.
Honestly, I would just try contacting her again. It come from the doctor and they may be the ones taking their time. Maybe?
Maybe just scald it before use. If it's been frozen, it's likely lost the majority of antibodies anyway.

I would touch base with her about the prenatal screening. Honestly as a pumping mom, if I didnt want my milk to go to waste I would provide my results. It is no big deal.
