Rec the best baby gear stores please!

Hi Ladies,

I live in Central Illinois and MH and I are planning a weekend baby shopping trip in Chicago. We are expecting twins and our local stores don't have much in stock to demo/see. We are especially wanting some hands on time with double strollers, specifically the BJ City Select. Could you please recommend your favorite baby gear stores? TIA!

I have had great experiences at Galt Baby. The sales people there have always been attentive and helpful to us.  I have seen the Baby Jogger brand at the store.   I have been to the one in Lincoln Park, there is also one on Michigan Ave.

You should plan on stopping at one BuyBuyBaby. As far as big box baby stores go I think its the best. They carry the BabyJogger brand and the staff actually get some training from what I can gather. 

I love the City Select! The steering and functionality are awesome! I just ordered the second seat kit and started playing with it and the bassinet, and the car seat holders. I've had the stroller over a year and I'm still impressed.

REI was also great for checking out the Double BOB.
