Lately we're down to one at around 2ish. I'm wondering how aggressive I can be with eliminating the last one. I don't mind it and he goes back to sleep easily usually but of technically he doesn't need it by all means... Hehe.
We are. My LO doesn't like solids and gets distracted during the day so I think she's honestly hungry at night. She will eat a full meal, so I'm not pushing her to eliminate night feedings yet. She gets up 2-3 times still (approx every 3-4 hours).
I am a SAHM though and can nap when she naps. I might feel differently if I had to get up in the morning for work.
oh what i wouldn't give for just 1 night feeding. we usually make it to 11:30. and then 2:30, then 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, and time to get up at 6:30.
i can't wait for this week to be done so we can start sleep training. DH and i are both crazy at work this week so we decided to wait for friday.
On a bad night, this is us. On a good night, she eats 2-3 times. I'm not trying to eliminate night feedings. She doesn't like solids. Also, it keeps AF away and my supply up, which is important since she has a milk allergy.
I do at least one, two on a bad night, but I won't feed her three times (I'll use other methods to soothe instead). Most nights it's once, though, and rarely a substantial feeding, at that. (Still BFing.) As she's on the small side, I'm not pushing her to night-wean.
We FF and he usually wakes up around 3-4 for a bottle and then goes back down until 6-7. Bedtime is 9pm, so he makes it 6-7 hours before waking up. I'm not complaining-its better than waking all night long!

I do if she wakes, but for the past month has been sleeping through the night. It did help my supply, I was able to pump more in the morning, about 5-7 oz, now I'm lucky to pump 3-5oz.

DD has been waking up once (between 3-4 am) for a night-feeding lately. I don't have any plans to eliminate it right now. I did read in my baby care book by the AAP that most babies can sleep the full 12 hours over night without having to eat by 8 months. So, hopefully, in another month or two DD will go that route.

This is me also. I feed him before I go to bed, then he wakes around 2am and I feed him. He usually wakes again around 4-5am, but I try to give him his paci back and soothe without BFing.
Keaton still gets up to eat between 2-4am depending on when he goes down. He is eating between 6-8oz so I think he is waking out of hunger rather than habit.
Hannah waked up to eat around 2am. I offer 4 oz, she sucks it down and will go back to sleep. She would take more, but at some point we need to start decreasing that amount so I don't want to up it if I dont have to.
She has been eating around 5:30 or 6 every morning and then going back down for a couple of hours. She doesn't go to sleep for the night until 8:30 or 9 at night.
Last night however she slept from 9-8 without waking up. Here's hoping that is the new trend!
Sylvia still nurses at night. We bed share, so I don't have a great sense of how often, and I don't think she really eats that much- it seems it's mostly for comfort.
If you don't have a problem with it, no need to do anything about it!
We are in a major way. Really mostly it's just nursing back to sleep because that's the only way I can get him to sleep, but it's anywhere from 2 to 10 times a night. 2 of the wakings are genuine feedings though.

I feed her if she wakes up. Sometimes she makes it the full 12 hours. Other times she wakes between 3 and 5 AM. She goes to bed around 7, so if she does wake up it has already been 8 to 10 hours since she ate last. I tried a couple of times to eliminate it and every time it was an hour battle and I ended up giving in anyway. I think she honestly is hungry. It doesn't bother me. She's a quick eater and goes right back to sleep. If she is still doing it once we add a second meal of solids, I may reevaluate.

omg i LOVE your new siggy pic. he is adorable!
OP - I was feeding DS 1-2x/night. I feed him right before bed (about 7:00pm) and then usually he wakes around 1 and 4 and then at 6 for the day. Last night he slept 7:30-4:30!!! So I only fed him once (but he refused to go back down). I'm hoping going forward he will just nurse once and that will satisfy him til the morning.
My pediatrician told us he is big and old enough to not need a night feeding so maybe he will try to completely drop it soon.
We are up usually twice a night. And I'm okay with that. She needs it because she's barely nursing throughout the day (due to being WAY too busy of course) and we aren't pushing solids. She gets the odd taste of something each day but that's all-no actual meals that count.
