Twilight?

I just started reading it and I cannot put it down. At the end of every chapter I fight the urge to call my niece for the movie.

And now I have to stop to make dinner. Should have made it pizza night!

Re: Twilight?

  • I put off reading it for a long time, then had to give in when my book club picked it. Needless to say, I read the whole saga in a week and then re-read it a few days later! It's embarrassing how obsessed I am. I think Stephanie Meyer laces the pages with crack.

Haha! I am walking around doing things as I read it. Putting water in a pot, unloading the dishwasher...

It's been a long long time since a book has sucked me in. Or I should say since I have allowed a book to suck me in?

  • The movie sucks so resist that urge. I read the series in a week. Then re-read them when I was done.

Exactly this. I read the whole thing and immediately re-read it. I just wasn't ready to leave the world of vampires and werewolves. I was pretty disappointed in the first movie. All of my favorite parts from the book were missing or rewritten.

  • I enjoyed the books a lot ... Saw the first movie and NONE after that one. The movie was awful.

I felt the same way but the movies get A LOT better after the first one.

  • Twilight was okay. Movies sucked... (I'm sorry vampires don't sparkle).. I'd rather read Anne Rice any day. The vampire Lestat, Interview with a Vampire, Vampire Armand.... Ect

Definitely laced with crack. I cannot get enough. I caved and watch the movies just so I wouldn't be disappointed later. The first one totally sucked and I just finished the second. A little better, but nothing like the books. I still have the third to watch tomorrow. Or maybe I should wait until I am finished with the second book.

I'm hooked. And now I can see why many read them again right after.

  • I loved the books too, I stayed up SSOOOOO late reading them. :) The 1st movie was crap, 2nd a bit better, 3 was pretty good, and Breaking Dawn pt 1- LOVED IT, I like where/how they ended it there. :)

Finish all the books, then watch the movies. The books are so much better than the movies, and I'm sure you are already playing it out in your head with the movie actors as you read. :) (I did LOL!)
