International travel and time zone adjustment

Anyone travel with LO to a country that's 8 hour time zone diff? We're going to London in two weeks and worried about LO adjusting to the time zone. It will only be for a week so I'm not sure if it's even worth trying to adjust LO to the time zone.

Thoughts/suggestions? Thanks!

  • We went from Oregon to NY, 3 hr time change, and little one got all screwed up. Before the trip he slept for 5 hour stretchs at night. Once we returned, up every 2-3 and still up every 2-3. Yuck. Trip was at 3 months and he is 7 months now.

    Damn NY! Haha.

  • We just got back from a month in a 3 hour distance. If we would have gone for just a week...we probably wouldn't have adjusted... However, 8 hours is a lot. Maybe adjust by just a few?

Yep, I agree. We're prolly going to adjust by a few hours (2-3). My husband is going for work and me and LO are tagging along so we might not change our schedule too much.
