This is only my 2nd day back and although I know it gets easier or that "I'll get used to it" but it just seems so wrong that we are away from our DC's so much. I sit in SO much traffic on the way home that after I pick DD up from my mom/grandmother's we don't get home until 7 or so.
I feed her, bathe her, put her in her sleeper and she goes down around 10. I barely see her at all. I feel like she will not "know me" as a mom. Does that sound crazy?

not crazy at all.
My DS goes down at 8 so everyday Im RUSHING home to see him. It does seem wrong but for me there is no other way. Have to keep dinner on the table and a roof over our heads.
your lucky! I get home at 6:30 and DD goes to bed at 7pm. We've tried keeping her up, but she wants nothing to do with it, she wants to go to bed at 7pm.
I feel like my mom (who watches dd during the day) gets the most time with her, followed by my DH who picks her up at 4pm. I get hardly any time at all
