Introduce to swimming pool?

We are planning a vacation in late March; DD will be 7.5 months old.  I'd like to introduce her to the kiddie pool.  Is the chlorine okay?  Is this too young?

Oh yeah, after 6 months is generally okay.

I don't know what the "right" answer is, but IMO that is not too young.  We took DS swimming in a pool for the first time when on vacation when he was just over 4 months old.  We just made sure one of us was always holding him close, made sure his head never went under water, and watched for signs of him getting cold.  When we were done we dried him off quick to make sure he stayed warm and then took him up to our room to give him a quick bath to wash the chlorine off.  So I say let her splash around in the pool.  Have fun on vacation!

We took LO to a hotel that had a pool when she wasn't quite 7 months.  We kept her head above water, I was a little scared to dunk her. She loved it and kept kicking her little feet.

Our Pedi okayed it at 3 months.  He just said to keep him extra covered because we should stay away from sunscreen at that young and to bathe him afterwards.  He was in a pool multiple times.  He was actually at a waterpark right before he turned 7 months and was just fine also, and their water was pretty chlorinated!

Nope your good! We went on a family vacation last month to florida and she LOVED the pool! She already loves baths so this was just one big one. We sat in the shallow walk in area and she splashed to her little hearts content. Remember sun block, a hat, and just signs of being cold. Man did she sleep good after the days at the pool.
