We are going on a cruise on Feb. 4th and I'll be about 16 weeks along. My Dr. gave me the OK and so did the cruise line. I'm worried that my morning sickness won't be gone and it will be compounded by sea sickness. I've cruised once about 6 years ago and I was only mildly bothered by the waves.
Has anyone ever done this? If so, how was your experience?
Re: cruise while preggo?
I cruised when I was about 14 weeks with my daughter and honestly I remember saying to my husband that the rocking of the ship kinda balanced out my morning sickness. It was the best I ever felt - haha!
The food was kind of an issue though. When I need food, I need it NOW and sometimes that wasn't always in line with when the cruise line was serving food (I could actually eat - not deli sandwiches and stuff). So keep that in mind and keep snacks in your room.
I cruised when I was exactly 16 weeks pg.
I had a wonderful time...no sickness at all. The only discomfort I had, was a sore back on the plane. Other than that, it was so fun.
