AW: She took a bottle!!

in Parenting after a Loss

DD decided after 7 weeks of taking a bottle and a paci that she was over it. We've been trying off and on since then to get her back on the bottle.

Today, after 30 minutes of screaming and spitting it out, she finally took one!! It only took 6 weeks! Now, lets hope it gets easier since she goes to daycare in a week!

    Hooray!!!!!  What a relief that must be!
    TTC since January 2010
    BFP 5/9/10. U/S - no heartbeat 6/2/10 (7 weeks). Induced miscarriage 6/7/10.
    Chemical pregnancies 12/2/10, 1/3/11, and 2/7/11.
    dx: RPL due to poor quality uterine lining; begin progesterone January 2011
    BFP 3/10/11. EDD 11/19/11. E arrived 11/15/11!

    What a great relief! We are still struggling.

    I had to lay her on her side across my lap and pat her back the way I do when she breastfeeds. I also had to get her really close to me as if I was breastfeeding her.

    Not sure if daycare will go for that. Hah.
