I bf my 7 week old, and I am now back to work. He seems to get really fussy and gassy after taking a bottle. I currently use the Playtex Classic Nurser with drop-ins. Anyone recommond anything better/different?
We tried the medela and the playtex nursers. The nurser was okay but still made him fussy. Our lactation consultant recommended the Adiri bottles to try and they are a million times better for DS. He doesn't spit up and only gets slightly gassy but nothing a little burping can't fix.
They are on the spendy side but worth it to me for DS not to spit up, eat too fast and get gas. The only bottle I want to try and haven't yet is the Avent.
I was using the Avent Tempo (drop in bottle), but DS was choking on the milk. I was using the slow flow nipple and he was still having issues. My LC recommended the Breastflow bottles and so I went out and bought one and they are great. I haven't had any issues. He only gets 1 bottle a week at the most. You can only purchase them at Babies R Us though.
ditto pp about adiri - my dd eats really well out of these bottles. the flow is slow enough for her and she rarely spits up or has gas afterwords. We also use born free and have had no issues.

we tried bornfree but the nipple was too flexible and made dd mad.
MAM Anti-colic - no gas issues.
