It's going well though, just getting all settled in.

    It's a little dicey.

    The Senate is out of session right now, so H is on shortened hours, which makes things oddly, even more complicated. Right now that means he works 9-5. Well, I need to put in 8 hours a day, not including lunch. So at the moment he's dropping us off at my old office building, I take B to daycare, then continue on my way to new job.

    Then I commute back to old office, pick up B and by that time he's waiting in the pick up line for us at about 5:20. 

    When the Senate comes back, he will continue to drop us off, but it will be around 7:45 instead of 8:45 and then I will pick B up, give her a snack, then walk her the mile back to our car, at which point it will be 6:15 and H should be there waiting for us, barring any nighttime Senatorial extended sessions...

    The latter scenario is what I'm really concerned about. We won't get home until 7:15 in that situation. Right now we are waltzing in the door about 6 and B is in her chair eating by 6:15....

    Yikes. I think I see the concern. I'm glad you get to start on this schedule at least! GL!

    Glad it's going well, but I'll miss you!  :(

    And that sounds like such a stressful drop off/pick up routine.  Hopefully once you guys get the hang of it it becomes like second nature.
